I am an economist with a research focus on carefully analyzing how climate-related risks affect the macroeconomy and financial system. I received a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2012 and a BS in Mathematics from Bucknell University in 2006. I taught at UNC Chapel Hill for five years then joined the Research Department of the Richmond Fed in 2017. Born and raised in Viet Nam. An advocate for science, science education and environmental protection. Love art and music.
